Sir David Attenborough Turns 100
Hardly anyone has ever had a more positive impact for all the people of this planet.

There will be almost no one who will not recognize his voice. Britannica writes of him:
David Attenborough (born May 8, 1926, Isleworth, London, England) is an English broadcaster, writer, and naturalist noted for his innovative educational television programs, especially the nine-part Life series. Over a career that has spanned decades, Attenborough has brought the wonders and diversity of Earth’s ecosystems to home audiences around the world, combining scientific insight with compelling storytelling, usually delivered through his avuncular on-camera persona and voice narration. His work has transformed the nature documentary, setting new standards for visual excellence and environmental awareness and ultimately inspiring generations to appreciate and protect the natural world.
In honor of this incredible milestone in a life worth celebrating, New Scientist gives us a great list of unmissable documentaries this man has given us. You’ll find it here:

Meanwhile, Sir David champions a very important issue in advocating for worldwide population awareness as we are now well beyond any sustainable level. His stance has not made all quarters happy: vested interests who want women breeding for their religion, for their race, for their political stances do not want population control. They want to illegalize birth control as well as abortion, and, if possible take away women’s rights to work, drive, and even vote. These attempts are not just about breeding and reversing population losses in the richest countries or the majority populations being lost by whites, but control majority controls are a very dark thread the fabric of continuing to breed ourselves off the face of the earth. See:
Population Crash Panic Has Just One Target -- the Wrong One.
Even if we have not one more child, our numbers will keep rising until at least 2100, when we'll peak at an unsustainable 11 billion people. Populations are rising in Africa, even as they plummet in China, the US and the UK. We need to change ECONOMIES, not force women to breed to protect the majority status of privileged races and the power of males. ACT NOW.
So, happy birthday, Sir David!!! Thank you for your love and for your light. And stay around for as long as it feels good. You make this whole planet a brighter place.
