THANK YOU!!!! ... Here's the skinny. We had hoped to be out by September 23rd. We won't make it. We have been waiting on the Museum of Northern Arizona for MONTH to deliver some of the most critical images for the book--and Paul Zolbrod's favorites--but they haven't. We are set back until at least October 23rd. ... BUT, we are going to start sending limited edition buyers the galleys of the book as they're finished. By the time you have your book, you'll have had a chance to read it all--and it's spectacular, as you can see. I'm sorry for this, but the Begay FOUR SACRED MOUNTAINS IMAGES, the copyright for which took us more than a YEAR to clear, and involved an exhaustive search for Begay's will and heirs, have met a final, and exhausting, delay. We fear that Begay's brilliant, archetypal images are lost. ... I can recover them with Topaz AI. But I would rather wait just a tiny bit longer to see if we can find the original scans. ... I'll stay in touch. I promise. And thank you so much.
No problem. I was just curious. Like with any "project" generally speaking, I'm of the mind set that if it's not complete, then it's worth waiting for all the pieces to come together. 😀 I'm a designer by trade, an artist at heart and currently a project manager on multiple projects each evolving at a different pace, from 3-5 days, 3-5 weeks, and 3-5 years before completion, so I totally get it.
If you want to buy a book, go ahead and do so. We can figure up the shipping later and run a separate charge for that if it's overseas. There are problems billing and sending tax on other countries through Stripe, which was the problem. [s]
Truly BRILLIANT WORK by the professor!!! Glorious, glorious paintings!! I hope that he sells out every book! (Unfortunately, I am having to downsize, and have already given away 2,000 books. Sigh...) My husband is Tibetan. I was fascinated when we visited Navajo land to hear my husband's comments: "do they have water?? We live in same houses. We have same turquoise and silver jewelry. We have some of same words!" Dawa is moon in Tibetan, and son in Navajo. Such a rare and brilliant work that your friend has created! I remember feeling terrified watching him go out to the edge of a 3,000 foot high rock in the Canyon de Chelly to chant prayers for an hour at sunset. Tibetans and Inuit, Navajo, and Apache have very similar DNA. My husband's mother's DNA had tribes that had migrated all the way to Terra del Fuego! [On a slightly different topic, Westerners came to watch and take pictures of sacred ceremonies in Hopi land. Finally, the Hopis had enough and banned tourists. The only person they allowed to enter their kivas, and witness their ceremonies, was H.H. the Dalai Lama.
I pre ordered the book. Just curious if there is an approximate ship date?

Thanks for keeping us posted!
Hi Morgaan, looked up the book, no shipping to anywhere outside the US, Canada or UK. 😥
If you want to buy a book, go ahead and do so. We can figure up the shipping later and run a separate charge for that if it's overseas. There are problems billing and sending tax on other countries through Stripe, which was the problem. [s]
If you do this, write me at MorgaanSinclairPhD@PleiadesBooks.com and I'll just make a note and get in touch when we're ready to ship.
