Elon Musk is indeed a disgusting white-supremacist and racist. He is also a pathetic Malignant Narcissist, who believes that his dozens of ordinary children will possess his "exceptionally superior " genes and intelligence. What a sad joke. His children will undoubtedly be embarrassed being descendants of Musk. Musk's oldest adult daughter has already made it quite clear that she loathes him. As do we all.

There is a painting in the Unitarian Church in Salem Oregon. That is about 4 x 6. It is outside of the sanctuary… that’s the back where you could take stairs to the left or right down to your seats.

It depicts Christ from other pieces of artwork global. So a series of squares, maybe five across six or seven down. Each Christ image morphed into the culture where the new Christians were trying to convert. Pretty much every genetic stereotype is depicted.

Someplace in my extensive archives are detailed photos of it.

Perhaps soon I can find them and share.

Hope the hard drive didn’t corrupt.🤣

Wonderful! I know that missionaries from The Vatican arrive in Africa with images of Jesus and the Virgin Mary portrayed as black. That's actually appropriate as both are transcendental archetypes.

However, the colonial application of oppression…. What a mess.

If anyone has pissed on Homer’s grave does that mean that we finally have more definitive evidence that such a person existed - and can we perhaps narrow down when he may have lived?

Mythologist resist even hazarding a guess, but generally agree in the 8th century BCE. Various references say that he was buried on Ithaka; others, that he was buried on Chios. No grave ever found, but perhaps Musk is implying that Christopher Nolan actually FOUND the grave so he could water it. Musk is so incredibly thick and dull. And, like everybody he hangs out with, a Malignant, Toxic Narcissist.

I just pissed on Homer’s grave yesterday

Yeah, I knew that was you. I told the Piss Police. Run! Run!

No, I had a pot and keeping that urine is essential for building some excellent compost… 😵‍💫🤣

Wonderful job on your list of global myth stories. I’ve already forwarded it off Substack. And I haven’t even finished your article.

Even sent it to the musk bot

Hey, thank you for reminding me of the many of these films and books that I’ve seen or read. Sometimes at 65 I don’t look back that far.

I'm 78 and emphathize strongly when I can actually MOVE.

Congratulations on making it to 78!🎉

Seems like you have a good view on things.

Hope so! Living through the Civil Rights Movement, Viet Nam, the Kennedy Assassination, the Iran Crisis of 1978-79, and so much else, and living long enough to connect some dots really helps settle the issue that human rights are the only thing that matters.

Oh, and the rights of other beings to coexist… I’m the kind of person who wonders what the great blue whale thinks…

This would be a good one to turn into film. The story of the Iliad from the perspective of Cassandra.

Oh, I have not read this! For me, The Mists of Avalon was incredibly transformative and liberating. Even better (you're gonna love this) is THE WOMAN'S ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MYTHS AND SECRETS (winner of 1975 British National Book Award) by Barbara G. Walker. It has some flaws, but for the time in which it was written is a miracle. It's the hidden history covered with millennia of sticky patriarchal cement.

Morgaan, I have yet to read it. Pretty much read everything Marion Zimmer Bradley wrote, except for things that were written under other pen names…

I love the Dark Over series.

This post makes me want to see this movie. Thank you for truth-telling and delving into the commonalities that are what makes the classics eternal.

Apparently, Homer was blind… if he ever existed or perhaps they, perhaps she.
