U.S. Threatens International Criminal Court

Trump wants a war crimes no-indictment guarantee for himself, exoneration for Netanyahu, and a wash on U.S. military crimes in Afghanistan

THE ICC MUST *NOT* GIVE TRUMP WORLDWIDE IMMUNITY THE WAY THAT THE U.S. SUPREME COURT HAS GIVEN HIM A LICENSE TO KILL … AND DEPORT … AND BULLY.

Reuters this morning broke this exclusive story. They write:

WASHINGTON, Dec 10 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s administration wants the International Criminal Court to amend its founding document to ensure it does not investigate the Republican president and his top officials, a Trump administration official said, threatening new U.S. sanctions on the court if it did not.

If the court does not act on this U.S. demand and two others - dropping investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza war and formally ending an earlier probe of U.S. troops over their actions in Afghanistan - Washington may penalize more ICC officials and could sanction the court itself, the official said.

Now, what’s going on is that what Trump, Hegseth et al. are doing in the Caribbean is a war crime (as well as being illegal as Congress has not declared war). The president of Colombia has pledged to take Trump to the ICC on charges or war crimes, and Hegseth, who had defenseless guys in the war SHOT is definitely up for an indictment. Kristi Noem’s name is going to be all over that. Tens of thousands of infractions by masked ICE agents against migrants, asylum seekers and U.S. citizens who happen to be brown, black or Asian may also qualify Trump for an indictment. Yet to be even approached is the potential crime against humanity of FORCED PREGNANCY, which is also on the ICC’s books—and that would indict the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court who took abortion rights and every misogynist in any U.S. position of power who has charged and/or jailed and/or tracked any woman seeking an abortion or any physician who helps her.

The U.S. doesn’t belong to the ICC, but that doesn’t stop the ICC from indicting people and for having them arrested in any country that does.

And Trump knows this.

We’ve written a lot about this. Below you’ll find copies of the indictment against Netanyahu … who is now getting very, very scared. He’s begging his own Supreme Court to pardon him in advance of a trial. The entire genocide in Gaza has been about prolonging the war to prevent this trial. Not exactly a great motivation for peace. Gallant is under indictment, too.

Also, still lingering are multiple war crimes indictment against U.S. military personnel in Afghanistan. Like these people didn’t have enough to worry about with the Taliban.

This is an important development as it demonstrates how terrified this administration is now that it’s clear Trump won’t become dictator and the Republicans are going to get slaughtered in the mid-terms and in 2028.

There will be a piper to pay. And the ICC is the best place for it.
