Ben Ferencz was a great communicator/ arbiter and activist for peace in a most complicated history of religious conflict. Thank you so very much for the history lesson, the fall out of which continues today, 03/11/2026. Seems to me there will be no end to these quarrels and intolerance as long as human beings, imperfect, inhabit the Earth 🌍. But we hold onto hope 🕊️ and try anyway. The gruesome outcome of war is a great motivator to try. ❤️🥰
Ferencz’s great point was that there will be no end to atrocities until there is a way to hold tyrants accountable on an international level. Because the most powerful nations on earth opt out, indictments against Putin and Netanyahu don’t get enforced. And when Trump’s time comes — and it will — he will just hide at Mar-a-Lago and avoid ICC arrest. (Noem will hide in the desert with a camera and hair spray.) That’s why it’s so important that at our earliest opportunity we impeach him, take him out of office, and get our hands on ALL the Epstein files and put this man in jail for the rest of his life.
