We have a toddler in the Oval Office who has the worst decorating taste of any person on this earth.

It took six European heads of state to hold Trump to an adult standard today in his discussion with Zelenskyy. But it’s clear from what he said that he’s still right in Putin’s corner:

• Putin wants all the territories he’s taken, which is all the stuff in pink. Now mind you, Putin signed a TREATY in 2003 to stay out of ALL those pink areas. In 2014, Putin illegally attached Crimea. In the last three years, he’s invaded all the other pink areas, also illegally.

• Putin also says he would block Ukraine’s joining NATO, and that he would not allow any NATO onto the borders created by the areas he’s taken, which, he says, he gets to keep forever.

• Putin says if he gets everything he wants from Ukraine, he’ll effectively “never do it again”—meaning he won’t go to war or appropriate strategic land again. Which is what he said in 2003. And what he said in 2010.

• And Trump says he’ll guarantee Ukraine’s security but it’ll mostly be Europeans who will have to do the securing. I know. If you have read that statement multiple times, I understand.

Meanwhile, the President of the United States says he wants a three-way summit between just him and Putin and Zelenskyy. That is the most unsafe thing I can imagine for Zelenskyy.

I would like to invite all these heads of state to just stay in America until this is over.
