No Nobel Peace Prize for the Violent Donald Trump. Good.
Emotional violence. Rape. Violent attempted insurrection. Support of Netanyahu, who went to war to stay out of jail and Putin, who did it in Ukraine for ego.
This morning the The Norwegian Nobel Committee, a five-person enclave appointed by the Norwegian Parliament, awarded the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize to María Corina Machado of Venezuela. The Nobel Committee chose her “for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”
From Al-Jazeera:
Machado, a 58-year-old industrial engineer who lives in hiding in Venezuela, was blocked by its courts from running for president against President Nicolas Maduro in the 2024 elections.
Hailing Machado as one of the most extraordinary examples of civilian courage in Latin America, it added that Machado had been a “key unifying figure in a political opposition that was once deeply divided – an opposition that found common ground in the demand for free elections and representative government”.
When Machado’s own campaign was blocked, she supported the opposition’s alternative candidate, Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia. Urrutia is widely believed to have won a decisive, even overwhelming, victory against Maduro, but Madura refused to cede power—as Donald Trump tried to do on January 6th, 2021, when election deniers and armed thugs from the Manosphere’s pro-white, pro-male militias stormed the Capitol building, threatening to do just what Trump told them to do—HANG MIKE PENCE—if he attempted to certify the election of Joe Biden, which was Pence’s duty, which duty Pence executed honorably.
It was hours before Trump would send troops—and this WAS a case for it—having even been asked to get ready to do that ahead of time. Trump apparently spent hours watching TV coverage of the violence, laughing for joy.
There Is No Peace In This Man
There is no peace in Donald Trump.
He is a bully, a liar, a convicted rapist, a convicted fraudster, a manipulator, a tax cheat, a philanderer, an adulterer—and a supporter of the oil industry (including plastics) that poisons the planet, the coal industry that dirties the air, the industries that supply war materiel to foreign governments for profit, the billionaires who skirt taxes and environmental rules for water and soil safety.
He is also very likely a pedophile, as the full release of the Epstein files will almost certainly prove.
Every inch of him is violently angry and endlessly punishing. He is a man who never forgets every single person who has refused to back down, every single person who has held him to account: James Comey, Letisha James, Fani Willis. He wants to jail Pritzker. He wants to jail Newsom.
And this is a man who has let the wars in the Ukraine and Gaza run on and on while tens of thousands of people died—either because he can’t stand up to Vladimir Putin or because he won the election on Jewish money or because he’s got big, greedy plans for the Gazan coast.
Now the Question Is: What Did He Promise Netanyahu to Get This Deal?
What’s completely and nauseatingly obvious to many of us is that, now that Trump pulled off a ceasefire in a week because he wanted the Nobel Peace Prize, that he could have done this any time.
And he didn’t. Which means he is just craven enough to manipulate the deaths and suffering of hundreds of thousands of people to sate his need to win in his hateful competitions with Obama and Biden and Carter, all of whom won the Nobel Peace Prize.
But it’s Obama—whose presidential portrait he has refused to hang—of whom he is so pathetically and compulsively jealous that may have prompted this tawdry national embarrassment that has been his quest to BULLY the Norwegian Nobel Committee into giving him the Nobel Peace Prize, which he, of all people on this earth, deserves it least.
And make no mistake, he gave something to Netanyahu to make Netanyahu back off his plan of dragging every single Palestinian out of The Strip and making it Israeli territory. What did Trump did Netanyahu? What did he give him?
Congratulations, María Corina Machado …
Our congratulation go to María Corina Machado, who has continuously put her life on the line to trying to transform Venezuela from a seemingly unbreakable series of tyrannies into a democracy—who had the grace to back her one-time opponent when corrupt Venezuelan courts block her own candidacy on Maduro’s orders—who was forced into hiding but never left Venezuela.
And no, Mr. Cheung of Donald Trump’s White House, who said this morning that Donald Trump had the heart of a humanitarian: No, Mr. Cheung.
Donald Trump does not have the “heart of a humanitarian.”
He is greedy, mean, vengeful man, and he is a tyrant.
This is a violent man. He is no man of peace. And he should never be given any that has the word peace attached to it in any meaning or form.
We are grateful to the Norwegian Nobel Committee for holding its line against the creepiest of demands made by the vilest of tyrants.
You just saved the Nobel Prize. Well done.
And just for good measure …
BRAVO!!!
