Last Call for LE Copies of Paradise Revisited
A Spectacular Comparison of Two Mesmerizing Myths--with more than 100 Illustrations
A Special Note: The up-front costs of producing a full-color, glossy premium book are very high—mostly in the costs of licensing gorgeous images, combined with the up-front labor costs for editorial, production and advertising.
When you buy a limited edition premium book, you help us defray those costs so we have enough in the bank to finance the printing of the book and its first three months of distribution. That’s why we’re overjoyed to give you a signed and numbered copy and to make sure your name is listed on the Patron’s Page at the front of the book. It’s a collector’s item.

We are, finally—after a long delay due to injury—headed toward a February publication of Paul Zolbrod’s marvelous new book Paradise Revisited: Lines from John Milton’s Paradise Lost and the Navajo Creation Story.
Among the many remarkable things about this treatment by a renowned Milton scholar and the brilliant translator of the Dine Bahane’, the Navajo creation story (from original Navajo language to English), is that there’s literally no other scholar on earth in a position to make this mythic comparison—between a Judeo-Christian story of the invention of patriarchy and the creation myth of the matriarchal (read: egalitarian) Navajo culture. It’s deep, rife with moral questions, and sometimes (at least in the Navajo) very funny. It features innocent men and women, Satan, a wily coyote, some monsters, Holy People, angels, sex, and Warrior Twins. You’re going to love it as it compares and contrasts incredible adventure stories.
We are putting together a beautiful book—70 gms glossy paper and mostly color illustrations printed in premium ink—about 320 pages. The limited edition version is primed in ultra premium ink and has a gorgeous dust jacket and a frontispiece that lists the number of your digitally signed and numbered (in the order of purchase) collectors’ book, the Pleiades Seal, and a certificate of authenticity. You name will be printed on the Patron’s Page in the front matter.

Many, many, many thanks for your help in publishing our book.
BONUS: When you place your order, we will send you a copy of the Publisher’s Preface, which has a discussion of the accusations of misogyny leveled at Milton (bottom line: it wasn’t actually his fault) — and we explain what really happened in the writing of the Garden of Eden story—which, it turns out, was a deliberate attempt to wipe out the Canaanite goddess Asherah, first the wife of El and then the wife or Yahweh. If the Israelites were going to be successful in creating a monotheistic religion that supplanted all others, she wast he first one who was going to have to go! And they got her.
Thank you!!!
Thank you for the update. I’ve been waiting anxiously for this book and I’m glad to hear it will be coming soon!
