I think also this amendment should be extended to include forbidding making government rules and laws that are religious in nature, that take the rights away from certain people because the"religionists"don't approve of them or their right to their own beliefs,or even none at all.

ALL OF OUR CITIZENS,should have the right of freedom FROM any religion dictating what their rights as citizens can or cannot be!If this could be enacted,so many religious-based rules would have to be overturned, including abortion bans and restrictions, and restrictions against LGBTQ people,so that no one can restrict their rights as full citizens. There couldn't be any laws for any religion based"nationalism"either! If the politicians or citizens want to practice their assorted religions, that will be well and fine, but they CANNOT DO SO in Congress, the Courts, the White House,Cabinet,or in ANY state government or Statehouse!

The churches should also be required to pay taxes, without exception! They should not be exempted from taxation! There should also be laws against the megachurch pastors who are allowed to scam people out of their living to finance their expensive lifestyles, and buy them mansions, fancy cars, and aircraft. This should not even be allowed to happen, much less be legal!(I also wonder if they are paying taxes on all these luxury items bought by donations??)

We should also encode into our laws that there is now a clear separation of Church and State, and no entity can violate that rule!Put it on paper,in black and white,so it is very clear this is the way it is!

We The People want freedom from religious zealots holding our citizens and our laws hostage to force their beliefs on us, especially Christianists! We are tired that they can abuse the rule of law by cramming their beliefs down our throats!Make this illegal to do!Make the laws clear that religion cannot be encoded to force their beliefs on us!

The definitions and examples you provided were clear & understandable.

I stand with you on religion being a freedom and the choice in how we believe and worship is ours alone.
