Could this be a chance for Joe? He is too mild mannered to order a hitman, but perhaps a better option would be to officially, as President now King:

1: Disband the SCOTUS.

2: In its place a Tribunal of Three Judges: Sotomayor; Jackson and Kagan

They will now work 9 to 5 every day except weekends, year round to keep convicted criminals out of the government.

Jay Kinard for Vice President!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

I fear, however, that the Supreme Court will exempt ONLY ITSELF from the DIVINE DECREES OF THE JESUS PRESIDENT.

Sorry, I'm really in a bad mood right now.

SCOTUS reserved the right to determine what are official and unofficial acts. So this court would have the final say on anything Biden does. Nice way for them to keep exercising partisan control.

I think you're right. I am, actually, hurt to the bottom of my soul. I feel stupid. I feel blindsided because they are the LAST PLACE I thought a betrayal of everything I ever thought about who we are would come from. They have destroyed my faith in a way that hurts so deeply I don't if it'll heal or what the scar is going to look like when it does.

There is substantial evidence of Trump's danger to national security...fuck habeas corpus...and Biden could imprison him as a threat to our country! Right now! He won't, but he damn sure could, and I'm almost ready to say he should! As well as all the seditionist GQP members of Congress who acted to stop the counting of electoral votes!

Luckily for us, these morons did this while our guy is still in the hot seat.

Biden should act immediately to eliminate the conservatives, eject all the Republicans from Congress, imprison all the Jan 6 seditionists for life without parole, and order the assassination of Trump and his lackey.

They just gave him the power to crush them and their fascism with them under his heel, and in this moment, I am praying that our side finally realizes there's a time and place for fighting fire with fire.

Given that even though Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 but became President because of the Electoral College, we now have a Supreme Court that will rubber stamp almost anything a King Trump* will do regardless of how few actual Citizen votes there are for Trump. A King Trump can do just about anything especially given that the House now rubber stamps just about anything "Citizen Trump" not yet elected for a second time**and given that even when the House impeached Trump twice but that the Senate refused to convict

Further: With the fall of the Chevron Doctrine that says the Courts can rule without having to defer to the expertise of "experts" snd with no Justices or their Clerks being experts --and maybe in relying on partisan Amicus briefs--and when coupled with the installation of an Imperial Presidency today, with a Trump-Toady and Obstructive GOP in Congress and Supreme Court permission to have Trump bring a sham case in the Justice Department against his rivals, we will absolutely have no "checks and balances" if he is elected.

* If Presidents are now virtually infallible because of today's Opinion, shouldn't he also be considered a "Pope", including Biden also whether he's cognitively impaired or not? (And for that matter, what happens if a VP or Cabinet wants to invoke the 25th Amendment against a Biden or Trump because of any cognitively impaired President, including a Biden or a Trump, what stops a President from declaring such VP and Cabinet actions "invoking" null & void or declaring the 25th out of the Constitution?)

**case in point, Citizen Trump urged that the bi-partisan-negotiated immigration law be turned down and in turn, the toady House did.

So in the end here, I would argue that we now barely have a democracy at all even without Trump being elected.

Also any election that a Dem --no matter who--wins, there WILL be another Trump-level insurrection and whatever cases from a Biden Justice Department before Trump is sworn in attempting to prosecute the Trump militias that carry out Trump's next insurrection wishes and directions and insinuations desiring actions from underlings like a Mark Meadows-will all end up with the Supreme Court rubber stamping ANY position Trump's lawyers advocate at subsequent hearings no matter far fetched the positions are.

If Trump wins, there will be either no elections ever again OR the kind of fake elections that Dictators such as Putin hold.

It looks like you pasted the story in their twice as it repeats.

So, this is good news for POTUS, because he could declare DT a threat to democracy and have him killed with the backing of a SC majority. It’s a pretty good deal, I think.

These three women Supreme Court judges are a shining example of why women should be equally represented on all areas of our government. If only men would realize how much better the world would be if we got our 50% of power.

How can one trust a court that assured us that rights, like the right for women to choose, was settled law. Or that it was settled that agencies have the authority, under the laws established by Congress, to implement rules that protect citizens from pollution, disease, tainted food, etc. this Supreme Court is corrupt and is spearheading the GOP’s march to implement Project 2025.

The sickening six, the american junta, has spoken. Hitler would be wetting his pants with glee. A very sad day for the world. We are in dire need of morality in leadership, that must be sustained over decades to escape the chaos that most likely will come from this.

What surprises me is the constant reference to "King" Trump.

I don't know if many Americans have looked at monarchies elsewhere in the world recently, but I'm not aware of any where the monarch has these powers and is above the law.

The last monarchs I can think of to hold such "divine" powers were Czar Nicholas and Emperor Hirohito - and that ended *so* well for them...

Don't confuse monarchies today with dictatorship and "viva el Presidente for life"

There are I believe one or maybe two absolute monarchies left in the world. The only one I know of for sure is a country in Africa and I can't remember the name, as I write this. If you Google "absolute monarchy," you'll find it.

Iy is reversible because a couple justices are not allowed by law to rule on cases when their wives were involved in the Jan 6th insurection. Also the bribes accepted by Thomas is illegal no matter what Roberts says. All of them swore an oath to uphold the laws of the Constitution. Then there is the idea a twice impeached, convicted felon of a "president" should not be able to appoint 3 judges! Kind of makes the court UNBALANCED! So put your brains together and fix this mess!
