No details yet but MSNBC saying that the decision by Judge Davis to appoint a special counsel to look into Fox’s deceit in the deposition process and the make-up of the jury pushed Fox over the edge. They had been resisting because in addition to the 1.6 billion for which they’d been sued by Dominion for business losses, there were potentially huge punitive damages coming — and defamation suits generally include the demand for apologies rendered in the same medium as the defamation.
