Another “bravest women” would be, of course, Gisèle Pelico and her very difficult, very public (per her decision) multiple rape case against husband and many other Frenchmen. To both, we women owe a great debt for their profiles in courage.
I just read Joyce Vance’s piece on this and it IS justice in an era of “your body, my choice” is openly spoken without embarrassment. No, it’s MY body and if you tread that boundary, there is legal presidence to go after you.

Absolutely!!! The Pelico case just STAGGERS me. She is incredibly brave to have done what she has. She wouldn't hide. Spectacular and heart-rending.
Extraordinary courage. We should all be blessed with 1/10th of her courage and clarity and we’d be in a good place, indeed.
