Call Your Senators: Hegseth Goes for Confirmation Tomorrow

The drunk, sexual abuser, and malfeasant who's willing to use our troops against U.S. citizens wants to be Secretary of Defense.

The former “Fox & Friends” weekend host and Army National Guard combat veteran goes before the Senate Armed Services Committee tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Eastern time. Some senators (thankfully) have questioned his fitness for the role amid allegations of excessive drinking and sexual misconduct. The Pentagon chief’s authority over the U.S. military is second only to that of the president’s.

Hegseth has already signalled a willingness to use the U.S. Army against U.S. civilians to enforce Trump and conservative aims and says police and soldiers will “have to make a choice.” He doesn’t like gays in the military, any form of DEI, and women in the military. He promises to stop drinking if he is confirmed. And that’s drinking under the table.

The bottom line is that Hegseth will use the U.S. military any way Donald Trump or (pretty soon) J.D. Vance tells him to use it.
