Andrew Tate, Repulsively Unattractive Misogynist, Has $710,000,000--and 9.5 Million Followers Painting a Target on Your Daughter

MTM No. 5, Part I: ... Andrew Tate, the Self-Proclaimed "King of Toxic Masculinity" faces rape and human trafficking charges in Romania--and $21.5 million in tax evasion in the UK.

A few weeks ago we started this series on Misogyny, Terrorism and the Manosphere—MTM for short—beginning with the layout of the four major nexus groups behind the January 6th insurrection. Three of the four have deep roots in anti-feminism as well as in racism, anti-Semitism, xenophobia, anti-LBGTQ+, and anti-liberalism, along with heavy introjects of alt-right ideology, Trumpism, political and social fascism, and Christofascism. The three groups are the Proud Boys, the Three Percenters, and the Oath Keepers.

What all three also had, beyond a wish to overthrow the government of the United States, was a heavy, well-funded presence on the Manosphere, and we talked about that, too. And one of the most virulent woman-hating and -abusing groups on the Manosphere are the PICK-UP ARTISTS.

PICK-UP ARTISTS ARE ROMANTICALLY UNSUCCESSFUL, SOCIALLY UNATTRACTIVE MEN THAT WOMEN REJECT.

THEIR ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM, THEY BELIEVE, IS TO USE PSYCHOLOGICAL MANIPULATION AND EVEN PHYSICAL BRUTALITY TO GET LAID. THEY ARE HOSTILE AND ABUSIVE. THEY HAVE BOOKS AND SEMINARS TO TRAIN THEM (at a cost) AND A HUGE INTERNET ASSOCIATION TO EGG THEM ON. THEY VILIFY WOMAN AS MORALLY LOW, INTELLECTUALLY INFERIOR OBJECTS WHO OWE MEN SEX. THEREFORE, IT’S OK TO MANIPULATE, BEAT AND EVEN RAPE THEM.

PICK-UP ARTISTS TARGET YOUNG WOMEN FOR SEX — AND PRETEEN BOYS FOR MONEY. THEY ARE ENDANGERING A GENERATION OF YOUNG MEN AND RUINING THE BRAINS, EMOTIONALITY, AND CONSCIENCES OF A GENERATION OF YOUNG MEN WHO WILL FEEL THE NEED TO HIDE WHAT THEY’VE BEEN ENGAGED IN FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES.

Pick-Up Artists

The Pick-Up Artists (PUAs). This is home territory for Andrew Tate, who has been under house arrest in Romania for months on charges of human trafficking (or women in a sexual slavery racket) and rape. Tate, interestingly, converted to Talibanism in November of 2023. O quel surprise!! He is currently pretending to support the Christian community, which claims it is being “attacked” by designers of the opening spectacle at the Paris Olympics.

Pick-Ups Artists have a long history, which we’ll talk about, but first a few definitions and descriptives. First, the McCain Institute considers misogyny as a root cause of all terrorism—Islamic, Christian, social-media, and otherwise. Pick-Up Artists—PUAs—are considered to be one of the four major groups.

The level of denigration done by these people is vile and shocking. Their pontifications — for they believe they know everything about women’s motivations, which are always, they claim, evil and greedy — appear on my Facebook reels with staggering frequency despite the fact that Tate was, a few years ago, banned on every single social media platform. Elon Musk let him back on X. Why would he do that? Maybe it’s because Tate’s is the most searched name on TikTok.

These are the kind of men who take young girls and “groom” them, use them for prostitution, and are responsible for an immense number of statutory rapes of children and young teenagers. They are openly predatory and daring you to say you don’t like it. And here’s what they believe:

• PUAs believe women should be removed from the public sphere, which should be completely peopled by men, as it is in Afghanistan.

• Women should not be allowed to drive.

• Some believe woman should not be allowed to work.

• Women should not be allowed to have credit cards, to have their own bank accounts or their own cell phones.

Even deeper in Andrew Tate’s philosophy is that women are … simply put … rotten. They’re greedy. They’re untrustworthy. They’re conniving. All this means, of course, that whatever men do to them, they deserve.

Origins in the Early Men’s Movement

The Southern Poverty Law Center has had a bead on the extremely lucrative PUA movement, in which men are sold methods of manipulating women into bed. Often psychologically sophisticated, these methods play on the low self-esteem and sense of inferiority that the culture has spent every moment since her birth engendering in her:

As women made gains like greater parity in the workforce, some men’s rights activists began arguing that women had, in fact, greater societal power, and were victimizing men. Women, they claimed, were responsible for men losing jobs and losing earning power, increasing divorce rates and an endless list of other ills.

The progenitor of the men’s rights movement, Warren Farrell, gave voice to those feelings of male oppression in his 1993 bestseller, The Myth of Male Power, which has since become the seminal text of the men’s rights movement. A former National Organization for Women board member who used to rub shoulders with such prominent feminists as Gloria Steinem, Farrell – after his divorce – declared men were as oppressed as women, if not more.

The followers of this movement – who came to be known as men’s right activists, or MRAs – relied on pseudo-science and distorted statistics to downplay the prevalence and severity of violence against women and create false equivalencies between the systemic oppression of men and women.

Around the same time Farrell was giving shape to the men’s rights movement, others who felt men were too often denied sex began offering men a way to manipulate women into sleeping with them – something they said women rightfully owed to men. These so-called pickup artists (PUAs) share coercive strategies aimed at manipulating women into sex. They have a transactional view of relationships and believe feminism has granted women undue power in choosing partners. For PUAs, these predatory strategies can help them overcome feminist obstacles and elevate their “sexual market value.”

More about the “The Game” — the inner game and the outer game these men hone — later. For the moment, the undeniable connection between male supremacy and misogyny, white supremacy, and terrorism becomes imperative to explore. Writes the SPLC:

Misogyny plays a major role in underpinning and motivating white supremacy. However, the omnipresent nature of misogyny and its far-reaching influence on American society means the extent of the problem is often hidden in plain sight.

Male supremacists frequently bring in antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories to address the inherently contradictory aspects of their worldview. According to male supremacists, women are genetically inferior, lazy and stupid. At the same time, they are the all-powerful overlords who corrupted society with their feminist influence. To explain this inconsistency, many adherents present feminism as an invention of the Jewish elite to disguise Jewish influence over society. Antisemitism and misogyny often work together, animating each other and other forms of hate. A 2020 survey conducted in the United Kingdom found young people with negative views of feminism were more likely to endorse antisemitic conspiracy theories and hold racist beliefs.

Biological Self-Elevation

The throw-back attitude of PUAs is not of their own invention. It suffuses patriarchy, and the enforcing agency of patriarchy is always religion. The enforcing power of governmental law and social custom relies on the approval of religion—which ordains patriarchy and misogyny as a man’s “God-given right.” And that “God-given right” is made evident, he claims, in his biology.

• Associated with the male: intelligence, strength, rationality, innovation, power, and all qualities good.

• Associated with the female: stupidity, intellectual inferiority, weakness (moral and otherwise), duty to provide sex and bear children, all things evil.

One of the fourteen ever-present qualities of fascism is its demand that women be consigned to an organic view of her biological capacity to bear children—an organic view that, according to the fascists, they have a right to ENFORCE ON HER.

Men have used this biological self-elevation to suppress or repress women’s freedom along a continuum that runs from lowered wages to a complete expulsion of women from the public sphere and incarceration in identity-stripping garments. Of in extreme cases, the woman is policed by the men in her own home, and their permission is required for her education, travel, or even leaving the home. In some cultures men own the children that women bear. Worldwide, women are excluded from the policy making and administration of all religions except for a very few denominations.

The Right to Denigrate, Bully, Beat, Rape and Enroll into Pornography

In June 2023 when Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate and two of their associates were charged with rape and human trafficking. Andrew Tate went viral for his toxic misogyny in summer 2022 after he directed thousands of his supporters to inundate social media with his most controversial clips. Romanian prosecutors accuse the group of using “physical violence and mental coercion” to sexually exploit a group of women and force them to produce pornography. SPLC:

Andrew Tate denies these charges; however, his narrative of innocence is undercut by leaked content from his moneymaking schemes. In 2018, Tate launched a $450 online course called the “Pimpin’ hoes Degree” (PhD) program. According to Rolling Stone, course videos revealed Tate sharing strategies with his students on how to manipulate their partners into doing sex work. Additionally, leaked screenshots of 2021 messages between Tate and his associates show him discussing one of the human-trafficking victims listed by Romanian prosecutors. The messages appear to show Tate bragging about manipulating the woman into doing sex work.

And “wisdom” offered by one of Tate’s PUA predecessors:

“Slapping a girl across the face isn’t just about hurting her, it’s a kind of neg. It says, ‘I can crush you like an insect, but you aren’t worth the effort.’ It’s a tacit acknowledgement that she’s weaker than you, beneath you, and if she crosses you again, you’ll put her in the hospital. You treat her like she’s a child throwing a temper tantrum, not an equal. ... Women should be terrorized by their men; it’s the only thing that makes them behave better than chimps.” – Matt Forney under the pseudonym Ferdinand Bardamu in Mala Fide blog in an article titled “The Necessity of Domestic Violence,” 2012

With more to come, here are a few memes from PUA sites—with commentary.

Response: (1) Tate wouldn’t know a real woman if she ran over him with a John Deere combine. But in essence, all women are real. They are more or less wise in the ways of the world and the manipulations of men, but they are all real, and they are all valuable. (2) This dictum is constantly being reiterated in the Manosphere: get her away from ALL other men. That includes brothers, fathers, and male friends who really care about her welfare. THE FIRST RULE OF ABUSE IS ISOLATION. This isolation will rapidly expand to all her female friends, too. Now she’s alone. At this point he will take her cell phone and car keys, too. Now she’s trapped. (3) You’ll note with Incels and PUAs that absolutely everything they say — all this “wisdom” they made up on the spot — is 100% designed to stroke and inflate their male egos.

Logical fallacy. Logical fallacies are thinking errors. (1) A global statement about all women or men displays a projection of what Tate wants others to believe. The man making this statement wants to smear all women with the untruth that every woman is out to get you, no woman feels honest love for anyone, women cannot be trusted to honor love’s boundaries.

No, Andrew, you’re not showering us with pearls of great wisdom that “only a few” — the select few, the magnificent manly few, will understand. The implication here, of course, is that women, who, in Tate’s conception are always substandard, vicious, on the make, on the take, looking for every vulnerable as a place to attack a man, are basically evil, never to be trusted.

Tate is selling a mindset to men in which they cannot love—or be loved. Every man who is mature will cry in a wide variety of circumstances. Vulnerability is difficult for men because they’ve been taught it’s not manly. But it is. In ancient Greece it was thoroughly accepted that any man arguing passionately in a debate might cry, because he felt strongly, because he cared immensely—because, with all he had been through, he was a deeply human person. …

Tate always stresses that a man must be invulnerable to feeling anything real for a woman—and invulnerable from believing she is anything but evil. … The result of feeling a group is evil is that you are now justified in doing to that group anything you want. If you don’t believe me, learn what happened to the Jews when the Nazis projected all evil onto them. Or just read the history of women’s rights when men were allowed to project the source of all evil onto women, absolving themselves of their own transgressions. Start with the history of the Inquisition.

The misogyny on Tates videos, which have been banned from all social media platforms but which circulate freely on the DARK manosphere encrypted to keep out the prying eyes of police, are clearly part of rape culture, Amelia Handy, policy lead at Rape Crisis England and Wales, revealed to The Daily Mail last summer:

“These videos are a clear example of rape culture, where rape and sexual violence are minimized and survivors are blamed for crimes committed against them. Sexual violence does not exist in a vacuum, it is very much rooted in the sexist belief that women and girls are less valuable than men and boys. It is therefore deeply concerning that young people have access to content that teaches just this and makes sexual abuse seem normal. TikTok has a responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of its users: by allowing these videos on their platform they are failing to protect the millions of young people who use their app.”

“Read the Bible, every single man had multiple wives, not a single woman had multiple husbands. It’s against the will of God — it’s disgusting.”

As I said, religion is the enforcing agency of patriarchy.
