Visual Capitalist Images Our Official Entry into the Anthropocene Epoch
I am a great fan of Visual Capitalist. They crunch the numbers about a myriad of concepts, trends, and issues and generate graphics everybody can understand.
This time, they’ve done it with Earth’s geological and climate epochs—in a nod to the fact that in July 2023 we entered a new epoch, the Anthropocene, which means that humans are having so much impact on our climate that it is a reflection, not of nature but of ourselves.
In case you’re wondering, that’s NOT good.
